Literary Criticism From Beyond the Grave

AndrewCarnegie

Andrew Carnegie (1835–1919) was a Scottish-American industrialist, philanthropist, and author who rose from poverty to become one of the richest men in history. Best known for revolutionizing the steel industry and later giving away the vast majority of his fortune, he championed education, peace, and public libraries. His writings—including The Gospel of Wealth—articulate a belief that wealth is a public trust, best used for the betterment of society. Carnegie’s legacy endures not just in buildings of stone and steel, but in ideas grounded in effort, integrity, and responsibility.
